About this file
This document outlines salient characteristics for a federal contract solicitation seeking depth loggers and wave recorders. The solicitation from the Department of the Interior US Geological Survey Office of Acquisitions and Grants requests five single-channel pressure loggers capable of intermittent and continuous wave burst measurement and tidal averaging. The loggers must be capable of operating on one AA battery, sampling up to 16 Hz bursts with wave analysis, storing at least 65 million readings, downloading via USB-C, and fitting within specified dimensions. The loggers are required to have a plastic housing and achieve listed accuracy and resolution standards when measuring pressure ranges of up to 20 meters with a time constant of less than 10 ms.
