About this file
This document is a Salient Characteristics specification for a GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) Receiver and associated accessories. The comprehensive requirements detail a high-precision surveying and mapping system consisting of a GNSS receiver, a hand-held controller, software, pole mount, carrying case, and battery charging equipment. The GNSS receiver features advanced capabilities including 672-channel GNSS chips, multi-satellite signal tracking (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and others), integrated 4G LTE cellular modem, dual-band radio modem, RTK precision of 8 mm horizontal and 15 mm vertical, and durability specifications like IP67 rating and ability to withstand 6 ft drops.
The accompanying controller is a robust, Windows 10-compatible handheld device with a 7" sunlight-readable display, QWERTY keyboard, integrated sensors, front and rear cameras, and connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular networks. The software is optimized for field applications, supporting workflows like point measuring, stake-out, and coordinate geometry routines. Additional accessories include a pole mount, carrying case, and external battery charger, ensuring a comprehensive and field-ready GNSS surveying system with extensive technological capabilities designed for professional land surveying and mapping applications.
