About this file
This document is a Salient Characteristics specification for Single-Axis Tilt Sensors (Inclinometers) with the contract number S25078. The specification requires 5 single-axis tilt sensors and 5 corresponding connector cables with precise technical requirements. Key sensor specifications include a solid-state design with +/- 60-degree tilt limit, 0-5 VDC output, 12 VDC power operation, IP66 sealed housing, -40 to 80°C operating temperature range, and RoHS compliance. The sensors must be compact (no larger than 3.75" x 1.75" x 1.6") and have specific performance characteristics such as +/- 0.5 degree transverse axis misalignment and 0.02% non-linearity. The accompanying 80-foot connector cables must be compatible with the sensors and include stripped/tinned open lead wires on one end.
