TECHNICAL EVALUATION: LOWEST PRICE TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE

1. LOWEST PRICE TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE

The Government will rank timely quotations from lowest to highest based on Total Evaluated Price and evaluate the lowest-priced quotation for technical acceptability. If that quotation is technically acceptable and the quoter is responsible, the Government may make award without evaluating higher-priced quotations. If it is not technically acceptable, the Government may evaluate the next lowest-priced quotation. This process may continue until a technically acceptable quotation is identified.

Price will be evaluated for fairness and reasonableness.

2. Technical Acceptability, Pass/Fail

Technical acceptability will be evaluated on a Pass/Fail basis. To receive a Pass rating, the quotation must:

• Provide a completed Bid Schedule with pricing for every item.

• Offer the specified products or equal products that meet the applicable salient characteristics in the Statement of Work.

• Provide current product label or manufacturer technical information for each equal product offered.

• Meet the product-registration and 30-day delivery requirements in the Statement of Work.
