Salient Characteristics Special Order S22101

SELF-CONTAINED TURBIDITY SENSOR SYSTEM w/ DATA LOGGING

SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS:

2 ea. Self-Contained Turbidity Sensor System with Data Logging:

1. Shall consist of a self-contained turbidity logging probe with an internal rechargeable battery pack.

2. Shall include a digital turbidity sensor that is capable of being detached for maintenance and calibration purposes.

3. Shall include SDI-12 and USB communications.

4. Shall have dual SD card slots for data logging and redundancy.

5. Shall be configurable allowing users to change various operational parameters such as measurement sampling time and wiping period for the wiper.

6. Shall include a sealed Delrin housing with a depth rating to at least 50m.

7. Shall operate from built-in field rechargeable, replaceable Li-Ion batteries.

8. Shall be capable of logging 15-minute data for a period of at least 3 months on a single battery charge.

9. Shall be capable of operating over a temperature range from at least -5 to 50 degrees C.

10. Shall include a digital turbidity probe with Delrin housing and a built-in wiper.

11. Shall have measurement ranges of 100, 1000 and 5000 NTU.

12. Shall perform measurements based on the 90 degree scattered light principle in accordance with ISO

Standard 7027.

13. Shall have an accuracy of +/- 1% @ 25 degrees C up to 5000 NTU, or better.

14. Shall include an auto range hopping feature allowing jumping between 3 preset range groups as conditions change.

15. Each system shall be provided with, but not limited to, turbidity sensor, SD cards, protective transport case, USB cable, protective cap and shroud, wiper kit, charging adapter, serial bus (USB) key, and spare battery.

1 ea. Turbidity Sensor:

16. Shall be compatible with the turbidity sensor system described above.

17. Shall include a digital turbidity probe with Delrin housing and a built-in wiper.

18. Shall have a measurements range of 100, 1000, and 5000 NTU.

19. Shall perform measurements based on the 90 degree scattered light principle in accordance with ISO

Standard 7027.

20. Shall have an accuracy of +/- 1% @ 25 degrees C up to 5000 NTU, or better.

21. Shall include an auto range hopping feature allowing jumping between 3 preset range groups as conditions change.

22. Shall operate from 12 VDC (nominal) power.

23. Shall have a Delrin housing.

24. Shall be SDI-12 compatible.

25. Shall include male SubConn connector.

26. Sensor shall be provided with, but not limited to, a protector cap and wiper kit.

27. Shall be compatible with the turbidity sensor described above.

28. Shall be at least 25 m long.

29. Shall include female SubConn bulkhead marine connector.
