About this file

This document is a Basis for Award (BOA) for the Corkscrew Toilet Demolition project issued by the Bureau of Land Management's Gunnison Field Office. The contract will be awarded based on price and multiple evaluation factors, including past performance, contractor location, and project understanding. Past performance will be graded on a confidence scale considering relevancy, recency, and customer satisfaction, with offerors required to provide detailed performance examples from the last three years. Contractors located within 300 miles of the project site will receive preferential consideration, and those demonstrating understanding of logistical challenges like site access, traffic control, and project elevation will be viewed more favorably. Pricing will be revealed to the technical evaluation board after other factors are assessed and will serve as the final determining factor among similarly graded offers.
