About this file
This document is a Pre-Solicitation Notice for a federal contract opportunity. The National Park Service (NPS), Department of the Interior, is seeking proposals on a competitive 8(a) set-aside basis for the construction of the Marquette Greenway Trail at Indiana Dunes National Park.
The project will formalize approximately 2.5 miles of the existing gravel trail as a 10-foot wide asphalt multiuse trail with 2-foot gravel shoulders on each side. It will also include formalizing spur connections and replacing an existing pedestrian bridge. The estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000, with a proposed 382-calendar day period of performance for a firm-fixed price contract to be awarded based on a best value determination using a FAR 15 trade-off process. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about August 17, 2024, and is currently an unfunded requirement with a high expectation that funds will be available. Interested 8(a) firms are encouraged to contact their local Small Business Administration office.
