TITLE OF PROJECT: Replace Retaining Wall Between Bocce Court and Van Ness street.
GENERAL: The National Park Service (NPS), Department of Interior (DOI), ConOps West, is soliciting proposals on a full and open basis from all interested businesses having the capability to perform the work described below. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Systems for Awards Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. Proposal documents will be available for download in Microsoft Word, HTML, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe PDF. Please Note: Paper copies of the solicitation will not be made available.

NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRIAL CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS) CODE AND SMALL BUSINESS
SIZE STANDARD: The NAICS Code for this requirement is 237990 with a size standard of $45 million.
DESCRIPTION: The National Park Service, Contracting Operation West, is seeking a qualified construction firm to install a new cast-in-place retaining wall at San Francisco Maritime NHP (SAFR). The Work will include the abandonment of an existing approximately 75 lineal foot lower wood retaining wall with construction of new cast-in-place concrete retaining wall in front of existing wall. New driven piles will be connected adjacent to existing wood piles to help support existing wall during the approximately 2 feet of vertical excavation for new concrete retaining wall footing. This work also includes the demolition of approximately 50 lineal foot upper wood retaining wall and replacing with new cast-in-place concrete retaining wall. Partial demolition and replacement of the existing sidewalk and fencing will be done to allow room for new concrete retaining wall construction excavation. Additionally, project will require the removal of designated trees, shed and foundation, benches, and existing vegetation.
PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
ESTIMATED PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 240 calendar days
SET ASIDE: This acquisition has been set-aside for Total Small Business Concerns. Offer received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected.
All responsible sources may submit an offer which, if submitted in a timely manner, will be considered. It is the policy of the government to provide maximum practicable opportunities in its acquisitions to small business, veteran-owned small business, small disadvantaged business, and women-owned small business concerns. Such concerns must also have the maximum practicable opportunity to participate as subcontractors in the contracts awarded by any executive agency, consistent with efficient contract performance.
