About this file

This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice from the National Park Service (NPS) Denver Service Center for RFP 140P2025R0007, announcing a forthcoming competitive total small business set-aside solicitation for construction services at Wrangell St. Elias National Park and Preserve in Alaska.

The project involves replacing the water treatment system at the Glennallen Facility, including construction of a new water treatment building with protected parking for water transportation vehicles, installation of a new well, and relocation/upgrades to water process systems. The estimated construction magnitude is $1-5 million, with a 365-day period of performance from Notice to Proceed. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price standalone contract requiring bid, performance, and payment bonds. The formal RFP is expected to be issued in Winter 2024/Spring 2025, with award based on best value considering non-price factors (including past performance) and price. While currently unfunded, there is high expectation of funding availability. The project falls under NAICS code 237110 with a $45.0 million size standard. A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held after RFP issuance.
