NOTICE OF INTENT FOR SOLE SOURCE- THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION - This posting serves as notification of the government's intent to negotiate and issue a sole source award pursuant to FAR subpart 6.302-1.
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Oregon State Office, intends to issue a sole source award for the purchase of law enforcement support services from the Malheur County Oregon Sheriff’s Office (MCSO). The proposed contract will be for a base period and four (4) option periods.
The MCSO is the only law enforcement agency providing law enforcement services across the entire county of Malheur where BLM Law Enforcement Rangers will be performing routine work and patrols, with the reliability and service required. The services provided by MCSO include a wide range of support to BLM’s Law Enforcement Officers with access to criminal background checks, to radio dispatch and other unique services that only the county-wide law enforcement agency can provide.
Interested persons may identify their interest and submit a capability statement demonstrating their abilities to meet this requirement.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responses received within 15 days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
Any response must be in writing and can be sent via email to the Contract Specialist at dblum@blm.gov by 1:00pm Pacific Standard Time 14 June 2021. No phone calls will be accepted.
