About this file
This is a market research survey issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Far East District Contracting Division to gather information for developing an acquisition strategy for Architect-Engineer (A-E) Services.
The survey requests firm identification information including business registration status in SAM.gov, business size classification (large business, small business, 8(a), HUBZone, women-owned small business, or service-disabled veteran-owned small business), and selection of applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes—either NAICS 541330 (Engineering Services with $25.5M size standard) or NAICS 541310 (Engineering Architectural Services with $12.5M size standard). Respondents must indicate capability to perform work within the Republic of Korea and identify capacity to support multiple concurrent task orders (2-5, 6-10, or 11 or more task orders).
The survey requires firms to identify capabilities across a comprehensive range of A-E services including general design for military construction and civil works, cost estimating, shop drawing reviews, hydrology and hydraulics analysis, feasibility report development, engineering design, construction support, hydraulic modeling, master planning, value engineering, construction management, energy audits and management services, topography surveys, Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information facility design, and anti-terrorism/force protection work. For each service listed, respondents must indicate whether they are capable of performing the work and whether they have contractually performed it within the last ten years. The survey also requires disclosure of Secret security clearance status or capability to obtain such clearance, and requests a brief 1-2 paragraph capability statement demonstrating effective performance relative to the respondent's answers regarding task order capacity, service capabilities, and security clearance status.
