About this file
This document is a product specification sheet for the Automatic Wire Test Set (AWTS) 100000-02, a portable diagnostic system designed for comprehensive wire and component analysis in military and aerospace environments. The AWTS-02 is a DOD-approved test set capable of performing advanced electrical measurements, including voltage, current, resistance, and capacitance testing across a wide range of parameters. Key specifications include 1,152 test points with 256 random access points, expandability to over 15,000 test points, and the ability to handle embedded components like relays and data buses.
The system meets rigorous military standards (MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-461F, MIL-PRF-28800F) and supports operation in extreme conditions, with a temperature range of 14-131°F, 0-100% relative humidity, and resistance to salt exposure, vibration, and dust. Its measurement capabilities span 0.25 to 500 VDC, 0.005 to 1.0 Amps, and 0 to 1000M Ohms, with specialized functions for diode and voltage measurements. Powered by 115/230 VAC, the system consists of multiple units with dimensions ranging from 9"H x 24.5"L x 19.5"W to 14"H x 27.5"D x 14.5"W, designed for portability and use across various maintenance levels and platforms.

Automatic Wire Test Set (AWTS) analyzers are DOD approved common support test sets for use at all levels of maintenance on all platforms.
From established depots to remote deployments, this flexibility enables maintainers to choose where best to perform service and repair actions.
The AWTS -02 configuration (P/N: 100000-02) is focused on supporting harness and wire system maintenance by maximizing the available test points and minimizing system size.
Combined with RAX Energization, systems that include embedded components (relays, data buss, indicators, etc.) can be tackled with ease.
Instructions listed in NAVAIR 17-15W-1, USAF T.O. 33D7-28-34-1.
