Five vendors submitted proposals: CN Resources LLC, Macias Gini & O'Connell, Myers & Stauffer LC, Sarah Low LMN Compliance LLC, and School Food & Wellness Group LLC. The contract encompasses monitoring and compliance reviews across multiple nutrition programs, including School Nutrition Program Procurement Reviews, Child and Adult Care Food Program Administrative Reviews, School Nutrition Program Administrative Reviews, Summer Food Service Program Administrative Reviews, and Special Projects. The contract term is approximately one year with up to seven one-year renewal options. Award is pending State Administrative Board approval.
CN Resources LLC and Myers & Stauffer LC were recommended for award, each receiving contracts valued at $922,500.00. Both vendors achieved perfect technical evaluation scores of 100/100 based on six weighted criteria: Scope of Work and Experience (25 points), General Requirements (20 points), Sections 2, 3, and 4 (20 points), Project Management and Reporting (20 points), ADA Compliance (5 points), and Vendor Questions (10 points). Only proposals scoring 80 or more points were considered for pricing evaluation. The pricing structures for both awardees differ slightly across service categories, with CN Resources charging $1,975-$3,475 per desk review and Myers & Stauffer charging $1,750-$3,250, with varying rates for on-site field work by review size and program type. Three competing vendors failed to meet the 80-point threshold, scoring 55, 67, and 26 points respectively, due to deficiencies in relevant Child Nutrition Program experience, limited staffing capacity, and insufficient technical documentation.
