3.0. REQUIREMENTS
3.1 The Contractor shall produce, test, and deliver uninterrupted power systems (UPS) and bypass switches.
Equipment shall be manufactured and produced in accordance with all documents listed in Statement of Work, Section 2.0 and 3.0, and each completed unit shall be tested in accordance with the applicable procedures in MIL-
DTL-24765B.
The Contractor shall deliver one (1) fully functioning UPS and one (1) fully functioning bypass switch that is designated the “lab asset” (CLINs 0001 and 0002 - First Article Test Units) four months after award. First Article Testing (FAT) is required for the “lab assets” in accordance with government test procedures provided in MIL-STD- 24765B and CDRL A001. The Contractor can submit a Request for Waiver providing evidence of prior “lab asset” manufacturing experience to obtain a FAT waiver. The requirement for FAT may be waived, if the award is made to a vendor who has performed the manufacture of these identical ‘lab assets’ on a similar scale on a current or recently expired contract (within 2 years). If a FAT waiver is granted, the contractor will not be responsible for completing FAT (A001, A014). Both procedures and results will be sent to the NSWCPD for review (CDRL A001). Once the First Article Test Units are fully qualified and approved by the Government, all subsequent Delivery Orders shall be delivered within nine (9) months of date of Delivery Order award.
