Subject: Award Letter, Contract No. 47PH0522C0002 for Elevator Modernization, Texarkana Post Office, and Federal Courthouse. 500 State Line, Texarkana, TX 71854
Dear Mrs. Sandra Stafford, Congratulations on the award of the above referenced contract. Enclosed is an executed copy of the award document.
Authorities that significantly affect contract terms, e.g., disputes, contract terminations, contract changes, or modifications, are reserved for the Contracting Officer (CO).
Lauren Young will be the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for the project. Ms. Young can be contacted via email at lauren.j.young@gsa and via phone number, 405-443-5269. (See enclosed copy of the COR letter for a description of the COR's duties.)
Since this is new construction, security clearances are not required for the construction phase work until substantial completion. It is the Contractor's responsibility to submit all the required information to obtain security clearances for all individuals who will work in the building after substantial completion. It is also the Contractor's responsibility to collect all the security badges and return them to the COR upon completion of everyone’s job. If you have any questions about the security clearance process or who your Point of Contact (POC) with GSA is for obtaining these clearances, please let me know.
Performance and Payment Bonds are required in accordance with your contract within ten (10) calendar days of receipt of award. In accordance with FAR Part 28.3, the Government requires the Contractor to provide insurance coverage as described in the subject contract. Should you have any questions as to these requirements, please notify the undersigned immediately. The Notice to Proceed mailto:lauren.j.young@gsa
(NTP) for the project will not be issued until these documents have been received and approved by the Contracting Officer.
In accordance with FAR 52.222-26(c)(8), the Contractor is responsible for completing and submitting the Equal Employment Opportunity Employer Information Report EEO-1 on-line at https://eeocdata.org/. In addition, scan and send a copy via e-mail to the GSA Contracting Officer. Unless the Contractor has filed within the 12 months preceding the date of contract award, the Contractor shall, within 30 days after contract award, apply to either the regional Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) or the local office of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for the necessary forms.
In accordance with the subject contract and FAR 22 requirements, the following shall be posted in a prominent place at the jobsite where it can be readily seen by laborers, workers, subcontractors and mechanics.
