About this file

This is a Notice of Award document issued by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) for the procurement of Liquid Storage Tanks and Accessories. The solicitation (48400-DOT0002722) closed on February 23, 2023, and awards were announced on July 5, 2023. GDOT conducted an electronic Request for Quotes to establish contracts with one or more qualified suppliers to provide liquid storage tanks and accessories, with an estimated procurement of approximately 50 storage tanks and accessories in various sizes annually. This multi-award procurement was designed to provide the Department with wide coverage and the ability to secure products statewide. The contract structure includes primary and secondary awardees, and all identified award amounts are estimates only due to the open agency contract nature.

Three suppliers were selected as successful offerors: Newton Crouch Company, Inc., Sprayer Specialties, Inc., and VariTech Industries, Inc., each receiving an estimated contract amount of $840,000.00 as open contracts. All three awardees successfully passed mandatory administrative requirements including W-9 verification, Georgia Secretary of State registration, tax compliance forms, certificates of non-collusion, eVerify compliance, cost worksheets, and business classification certifications. Additionally, all three suppliers cleared state and federal debarment and suspension checks and obtained Secretary of State active/compliant status and Department of Revenue clearance. The procurement included standard compliance certifications related to Sudan, China, and Russia/Belarus sanctions provisions. Eric Glaubman served as the issuing officer, and all protests must be submitted electronically to doas.protests@doas.ga.gov in accordance with the Georgia Procurement Manual.
