About this file

This document is an Attachment F to an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the State of Florida, Department of Management Services, for Aviation Hull Protection and Indemnity Insurance for the 2024-2025 policy period. The selected broker will be responsible for marketing, securing, and administering the insurance policy, which must provide coverage for aviation physical damage and liability, including hull, specialized equipment, bodily injury and property damage liability, and guest voluntary settlement, for specified state agencies. Bidders must submit their bids, along with an insurer quotation and AM Best rating, by the deadline of August 15, 2024. The solicitation does not mention any set-asides or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond, but it does encourage the involvement of woman-, veteran-, and minority-owned business enterprises.

The current incumbent provider is the National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, PA, with a premium of $118,227 for the first year of the expiring policy. The solicitation does not specify a budget range or award value, but indicates the Department intends to make a single award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
