About this file

This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act, issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division. The document applies to Middlesex County, Massachusetts (towns of Dunstable and Pepperell) and establishes prevailing wage rates for service contracts in that area.

The wage determination (No. 2015-4039, Revision 34, effective 3/30/2026) lists over 200 occupation classifications spanning administrative support, automotive service, food preparation, furniture maintenance, general services, health occupations, information and arts, information technology, instructional, laundry, materials handling, mechanics and maintenance, personal needs, plant operations, protective services, recreation, stevedoring, technical, transportation, and miscellaneous occupations. Hourly wage rates range from $16.57 (Taxi Driver) to $59.40 (various pilot and instructor positions). All listed occupations receive fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours weekly, $222.00 weekly, or $962.00 monthly), with alternative rates of $5.09 per hour for certain SCA/Executive Order 13706-covered contracts. Additional benefits include two to four weeks paid vacation based on tenure, a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually, and various differentials for hazardous work (4-8 percent), night/Sunday work for air traffic controllers and weather observers, and uniform allowances ($3.35 per week for cleaning and maintenance). The document includes conformance procedures for unlisted occupations requiring contractor submission of proposed classifications and wage rates to the Wage and Hour Division within 30 days of hire.
