About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a paint contract for two C-300 refueler trucks used for aircraft refueling operations at Scott AFB. The trucks require painting due to deteriorating paint condition that could lead to corrosion and rust.
The SOW details the scope of work, which includes surface preparation (cleaning, sanding, patching) and applying multiple coats of olive drab paint to the entire vehicle surface, including areas exposed to water and salt. The contractor will perform the work off-base at their own facility and provide the paint materials. The estimated timeline is 40-80 labor hours. This SOW is associated with a pre-solicitation for the paint services, with the solicitation number FA440724QTW03, issued by the Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command.
