About this file

This document provides specifications for fire and emergency services personal protective equipment structural ensembles to be procured by the United States Air Force. The ensemble includes structural coats, structural pants, and suspenders. The Air Force intends to award an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract with a potential five-year period of performance to supply personal protective equipment to 188 fire stations across contiguous United States and outside contiguous United States installations. The contract would allow for fluctuating delivery orders dependent on Air Force needs and has the potential to extend to other Department of Defense agencies. The pre-solicitation notice seeks industry feedback on draft request for proposal documentation for a requirement to be fulfilled as a total small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System code is 339113 for surgical appliance and surgical supplies manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 750 employees. Questions regarding the draft request for proposal are due by the closing date specified.
