About this file
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details on-site pipette calibration services for the United States Air Force Research Laboratory's 711th Human Performance Wing (HPW). The contract covers comprehensive maintenance and calibration of various pipettes, repipetters, and serological pipette aids across multiple laboratories, with a base year and four option years. Specific requirements include scheduled maintenance in February, May, July, August, September, and November for approximately 1,247 total pieces of equipment across different laboratory units, including single-channel, multi-channel, and repeater pipettes.
The contract mandates on-site calibration services with detailed technical requirements, including full internal and external cleaning, precision assessments, certification, and documentation. Technicians must have minimum 3-years' experience with specific pipette manufacturers and be able to pass base security background checks. Performance objectives include strict metrics for maintenance timeliness, emergency response, and technical qualifications, with potential invoice reductions for non-compliance. The solicitation is set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 811210, with a $34 million size standard, and is structured with multiple contract line items for base and option years from September 2025 to August 2030.
