About this file
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) document contains two detailed specification diagrams for boundary maintenance work at the Westville Dam for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Figure 1 illustrates boundary clearing specifications, showing requirements for clearing vegetation 4 feet from the boundary line between Corps property and private property. It depicts different sizes of trees (3" and larger trees, 3" and smaller trees/brush) and indicates where vegetation needs to be cut and removed. Trees along the boundary must have face blazes marked. Figure 2 shows boundary marking specifications with precise measurements for blazing trees, including placement of blazes 5 feet off the ground, 6" white and 3" red blaze markings, and proper positioning of BLM-01 signs facing adjacent property. The diagram also indicates the placement of boundary monuments and proper marking of line trees and corner trees along the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers land boundary.
