About this file
This document is a Sample Use Rights Letter template for the National Park Service (NPS) to obtain copyright permissions for images used in exhibit design. The letter is specifically related to the federal contract opportunity (Solicitation Number: 140P2125R0061) for exhibit design and fabrication at the Declaration House. The template provides a standardized approach for contractors to request written permission from copyright owners to use specific images in NPS exhibits, outlining key requirements such as image credit guidelines, which limit credits to the copyright owner's name and organization, without including web addresses. The letter requires the copyright owner's signature to grant permission for image use throughout the exhibition's lifecycle.
