For Services Description of Work: Network Contracting Office (NCO) 23 is seeking to award a contract for construction services. The purpose of the project is to construct a 7-story addition to building 1 to serve the Omaha VA Medical Center located at 4101 Woolworth Avenue, Omaha, NE 68105. The tower will house 14 identical air handlers (2 per floor) that will be installed on separate projects. The core and shell designed addition is located to the south and east of existing elevator 7/8 shaft and abuts the existing building, covering the windows east of the elevators and the west facing windows on the southeast wing of the building. Removal of an existing one-story education conference room is required. See the attached Statement of Work for more detailed information.
