About this file
This is a simplified grant proposal template designed for individual award recipients receiving funding under $25,000 from the U.S. Department of State's Public Diplomacy Grants Program administered by the U.S. Mission to Ecuador. The template is limited to a maximum of 3 pages and must be completed according to instructions in Section D of the Notice of Funding Opportunity.
The template requires applicants to provide: applicant information including contact details and previous/current U.S. government funding received; a proposed project overview with project title, duration, geographic areas, target audience, and funding amount requested; a detailed project description including purpose, goals, objectives, explanation of target audience importance, action plan with implementation steps, and expected outcomes; and applicant certification that the project does not promote activities contrary to three specified Executive Orders (14287, 14173, and 14168). For the budget section, applicants select between two options: a fixed budget format including travel, lodging, program materials, meals and incidental expenses, honoraria/stipends, and other costs; or a non-fixed budget format including personnel (honoraria/stipends for the award recipient only as primary project manager), fringe benefits, travel, equipment (over $10,000 per unit), supplies, contractual services, and other direct costs. Indirect costs are not applicable for individual awards. All submissions must be complete to receive review consideration.
