About this file

The document is an attachment, titled "Attachment L - Ride Aggregator Application Specifications," detailing the technical requirements for a ride aggregator application as part of a transit service project solicitation by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Department of Transportation and Parking. The application must be compatible with iOS, Android, and other major mobile platforms, and integrate seamlessly with UNC's transportation management system to enable real-time data exchange and synchronization of transit information. The application should provide trip planning functionality, real-time vehicle tracking, and a user-friendly interface with accessibility features. It should also offer push notifications, user account management, and data privacy compliance. The project involves three key aspects: an on-demand shuttle reservation, dispatch, and tracking solution; a fixed-route solution with GTFS feed support; and the ride aggregator application. The solicitation is open to interested vendors who may submit proposals for any one or more of the aforementioned solutions.

The document does not provide specifics on pricing, set-asides, incumbents, funding requirements, or sources. It focuses on the technical and functional requirements of the ride aggregator application as part of the broader transit service project.
