TITLE: High-Speed Oscilloscope Calibration Laser Requesting Lab/Division/Group:

Communications Technology Laboratory Radio Frequency Technology Division High-Speed Measurements Group (672.03)

General Statement of Need The High-Speed Measurements Group in the Communications Technology Laboratory has the need to illuminate high-speed photodiodes with ultrafast optical pulses. The repetition rate of 50 or 100 MHz is key for the phased-lock loop that aids in the oscilloscope calibration. Similarly, the phased-lock loop controls the repetition rate of the laser via the piezoelectric input.
