About this file
This is a Conflict of Interest Affidavit document prepared for the Maryland School for the Deaf in connection with the purchase of Cisco Meraki security cameras and licenses. The affidavit serves as a formal declaration required from bidders and contractors participating in this solicitation (PORFP R99P6601258) to certify compliance with conflict of interest regulations and ethical standards applicable to state and local procurement in Maryland. The document establishes the contractual and legal framework under which bidders must operate, requiring signatories to disclose any potential conflicts or financial interests that could compromise their ability to perform the work objectively and in the best interest of the Maryland School for the Deaf.
The affidavit functions as a binding attestation of integrity and compliance with applicable conflict of interest laws and regulations governing state procurement activities. By signing this document, bidders and their authorized representatives acknowledge their understanding of and commitment to maintaining ethical standards throughout the procurement process and any subsequent contract performance. This requirement protects the procurement process from corruption, favoritism, or improper influence while ensuring that all parties involved meet the fiduciary obligations mandated by Maryland state law and the contracting agency.
