About this file

This document is an attachment to a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the Oregon Department of Administrative Services, Procurement Services on behalf of the Oregon State Police for Electrical Wiring Harnesses. The RFP requires proposers to submit an Outreach Plan for certified disadvantaged business enterprises, including minority-owned, woman-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, and emerging small businesses. Proposers must indicate if they are a certified firm, provide a list of certified firms they have contracted with in the last two years, and describe the steps they will take to solicit certified firms for subcontracting opportunities if awarded the contract. Proposers must also report the identity and value of any subcontracts to the Oregon Certification Office for Business Inclusion and Diversity (COBID). The contract opportunity covers jurisdictions including Marion County and the City of Salem.

The RFP does not provide specific details on pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, funding requirements and sources, or contract term and renewal options. However, it emphasizes the importance of providing equal opportunity for certified disadvantaged business enterprises to participate in the performance of any subcontracts resulting from this procurement.
