About this file

This is a Service Level Agreements document between the Maryland Department of Corrections (MDOC) and a to-be-determined contractor for records staffing services. The agreement establishes performance metrics and timelines that the contractor must meet as specified in the finalized contract. The primary metric focuses on project completion timelines, with the contractor required to achieve 100% compliance with mutually agreed-upon project schedules. Compliance will be monitored through ongoing project status reports, approved project plans, and correspondence between the contractor and MDOC Program Manager staff.

The agreement includes a penalty structure for non-compliance whereby the contractor's invoice will be credited by 1% for each calendar week the project exceeds the agreed-upon completion date. However, service credits may be waived if the MDOC Program Manager provides written pre-approval of an alternative timeline, and extenuating circumstances will be reviewed by the MDOC Contract Manager prior to credit assessment. Any service credits assessed may be applied toward future payments due to the contractor or paid directly to the State of Michigan within ten calendar days upon demand.
