About this file
This document provides details on a federal solicitation for marine construction and repair services at Kuwait Naval Base. The solicitation seeks design-build services for upgrades and repairs to the ship lift and rail transfer yard, including replacement of wooden decking and structural elements, rails and accessories, utility infrastructure expansion and upgrades, and certification of transfer carriages and rails. The period of performance is 640 calendar days with a project magnitude between $10 million to $25 million. As the work will occur outside of the continental United States, there are no set-asides for small businesses. Responses are due by August 31, 2020 to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Middle East District. The solicitation uses a two-phase design-build proposal procedure.
