Crawler System Salient Characteristics

· Power Unit: Propane Powered; minimum 130 BP; minimum 30’ umbilical cord for hydraulic lines. Emissions certified for CA. Shall have an e-stop or equivalent.

· Remote Controller: Electric handheld remote control, bi-directional control. Shall have an e-stop or equivalent.

· Mover: Propane Powered, engine sized for up to 50-ton asset.

· Crawler: Fully powered by remote controller, hydraulic line from power unit connects to crawler. Design allows for crawler to rotate under asset for 360° turning capability. Capable of pushing or pulling. Minimum 30-ton capacity for crawler with 75-ton minimum pulling capacity.

· Dollies: All are unpowered, 3 muti-directional dollies; 2 straight rolling dollies. All dollies are minimum of 12-ton capacity.

· Toe Jack: 2 toe jacks, electrical battery pump, sized to 25-ton capacity each.

· System Specs: 50-ton capacity; stand-alone non-internet capable system. Designed to operate on concrete surfaces. Capable of operating up to 130℉.

· System Speed: Variable rate; 0-25 ft/min. Speed must be variable and controllable. 25 ft/min is the minimum acceptable upper range.

· Load Supporting Work aids: (See Attachment B) Minimum of three shall be provided. The work aid design shall simulate 10’ forks. Work aids shall have mounting brackets for both ends and a center mounting bracket. The end mounting brackets shall work with either the straight rollers or the multi-directional rollers. The center bracket shall work for the crawler unit. An additional bracket conversion shall be provided to allow for one multi-directional roller with the crawler. See configuration 1 and 2 on Attachment B.

· Operational Description: (see Attachment A – Receiving Layout) Assets will be dropped in the staging area outside of building 404 on the concrete apron. The crawler system will move the assets from the concrete apron into the building and drop them as near to the final location as possible. Jockeying of the asset to the final bulk location will be completed with onsite MHE.

· Safety: Emergency stops shall be located on the power unit and on the remote-control unit.

· Training: A minimum of two days training on-site shall be provided. Training shall include one demo on an asset that shall be required as proof of concept, and at least one complete load-move-unload shall be performed by DLA personnel while the trainer is present. Additional training shall be provided for operations, safety, and maintenance. Training shall include a written program for each group (maintenance and operations)

· Warranty: A minimum of one year warranty shall apply to the units upon sign-off of the project. The warranty shall include all parts, shipping, personnel travel expenses, and labor necessary to return the units to fully operational status.

· Exterior color: Manufacturer’s standard

· Operator, Parts and Service Manual(s) and Training: The contractor shall provide with delivery, one (1) complete set of manuals with each machine.
