Task Order Sheet Sample - Waterway Navigation Repairs and Maintenance

Attachment C is a task order sheet template for Sarasota County's waterway navigation repairs and maintenance procurement. The document provides a standardized format for documenting individual work assignments across the County's bays, rivers, and connected waterways, including Sarasota Bay, Roberts Bay, Little Sarasota Bay, Dona Bay, Lemon Bay, the Myakka River, and the Intracoastal Waterway Venice. The sheet captures essential project information including task number, Florida Wildlife Commission (FWC) reference, sign number or description, geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude), sign facing direction, work completion timeline, and excavation depth in feet. The form accommodates up to twenty separate tasks on a single sheet, enabling contractors to organize multiple navigation aid installations, maintenance, and removal projects. Proposals must be submitted through the County's OpenGov Procurement portal by February 11, 2026, with an anticipated initial contract term of three years.

The task order sheet serves as the operational mechanism for assigning individual projects to contractors within the prequalified vendor pool. Contractors selected through the RFQ process will receive task orders with specific GPS coordinates and project specifications, and will submit lump sum quotes for each assignment. The County will award individual tasks to the contractor submitting the lowest bid for each work order. Contractors must maintain at least one employee holding either a Certified Marine Specialty Contractor License or Certified Marine Pile Driving Specialty Contractor License from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Contractors are responsible for providing materials such as pilings, stainless steel hardware, and cross-member lumber, while the County supplies dayboards, regulatory signs, and buoys at no cost. Contractors who fail to respond to more than three County requests for project quotes within a twelve-month period may face contract termination, and the County retains the right to terminate for convenience with 30 days' notice or for default with 10 working days to cure identified issues.
