There shall be NO substitutions for any cans requested. All other specifications must meet or exceed salient characteristics.
A detail listing of specifications must be provided for “ALL” items.
2 SAMPLES
The Government reserves the right to receive a sample of each line item requested prior to award for the purpose of determining whether or not the particular line items meet all specifications or if the written specifications are not clear. Samples, if requested shall be provided at no cost to the Government and will become property of the Government.
3 TERM OF CONTRACT
The contract shall be for a period of twelve 12 months from the date of contract award, plus four, one year option periods subject to the Government's discretion to extend the term of the contract.
4 GOVERNMENT OBLIGATION
The Government’s minimum obligation under this contract is to order $1,000 in supplies for the life of the contract. No orders are required after the above threshold has been reached. The maximum ceiling under this contract is $1,300,000.
5 DELIVERY ORDER
Supplies will be delivered in response to funded delivery orders issued against this contract. Delivery orders issued against the contract shall serve as funding documents. Because this is an IDIQ requirement, the awarded contract will not be the funding document. Each delivery order must reference the awarded contract number assigned by ATF. The Government expects delivery time to destination on any given delivery order on average not to exceed 6 weeks.
6 PRICES
Provide the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives with the supplies listed in Attachment A NCD-NCETR-IAD Pictures and Specifications and pricing in Attachment B NCD-NCETR-IAD Price List.
Prices quoted are to include all costs associated with providing the equipment to the Bureau. With the exception of cans, all prices listed shall be inclusive of the delivery charges to the ATF location in Front Royal, Virginia or the Washington, DC.
Government will only pay for the shipping of cans when the order is less than a tractor trailer load. The Government will pay the shipping costs charged to the contractor with no write up of costs, this applies only to the cans.
The Government will also pay shipping of the cans, if the cans are shipped to another location other than Front Royal, Virginia or the Washington, DC. For all other items within this solicitation, the shipping costs will be covered by the contractor.
Throughout the life of the contract, the Government may be required to have additional storage space for cans. If this occurs the Government will negotiate with the contractor to locate that storage space. The Government will pay the storage costs charge to the contractor with no write up of costs.
