About this file

Attachment B is a Scope of Work document for the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) soliciting a contract for limestone aggregate delivery and spreading across Marsh Island Refuge and State Island Refuge in Iberia and Vermilion Parishes. The project involves delivering and spreading #57 limestone aggregate to multiple specific sites, with two operational components: Hurricane Delta restoration and Headquarters sites, totaling approximately 2,083 tons of aggregate across nine locations. The contract requires all work to be completed by June 30, 2025, with invoices due by July 7, 2025, and is structured on an all-or-none basis requiring bidders to provide unit pricing for every site.

The specification details precise limestone aggregate requirements, including specific gradation standards, bulk density measurements, and abrasion resistance metrics. Pricing is to be submitted as an all-inclusive unit price per ton covering aggregate procurement, delivery, offloading, and spreading. The document provides extensive site-specific information including latitude/longitude coordinates, water depth estimates for access routes, and site-specific placement instructions. Bidders are advised to independently assess site conditions, as water levels can vary significantly, and are required to follow LDWF's specific distribution instructions for each location, with some sites requiring aggregate to be spread evenly and others requiring placement in multiple piles.
