About this file

This document is a Specification document for a wastewater treatment plant maintenance contract, associated with RFx No.: 3000024992 and involving the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ). The contract requires maintenance of three oxidation ponds and three lift stations on a weekly basis, with bi-weekly sampling and discharge monitoring reporting under LDEQ Permit #AI9928. Specific maintenance tasks include inspecting and cleaning bar screens, checking electrical components, monitoring equipment performance, verifying chlorination units, and conducting weekly and quarterly service checks on lift stations and pond systems.

The contract specifies that chlorine, sulfur, and polymer will be purchased on an as-needed basis, with electronic submission of Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs). The maintenance service includes detailed tasks such as dipping out trash, checking motor amperage, greasing pumps, monitoring gas cylinders, and performing quarterly maintenance like taking a small boat into ponds to service aerators. Additional services like grass cutting around equipment will be charged separately. The document does not specify pricing, contract duration, or financial terms, focusing instead on the comprehensive technical specifications for wastewater treatment facility maintenance.
