About this file

This document is a Scope of Work (Attachment B) for a limestone aggregate procurement contract issued by the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF), specifically for RFx 3000025555. The contract requires a contractor to provide, deliver, offload, and spread #57 and #610 limestone aggregate to multiple sites on Marsh Island Refuge in Iberia Parish and State Island Refuge in Vermilion Parish. The project is divided into two operations: Operation #1 (Hurricane Delta) involves spreading aggregate at various Wildlife Conservation Service (WCS) sites, with specific instructions for each location, and Operation #2 covers Headquarters sites. The total aggregate quantities range from 132 to 505 tons per site, with a mix of #57 and #610 limestone sizes. The contract specifies that all work must be completed by June 30, 2026, with invoices to be received by July 7, 2026.

The bid is structured on an all-or-none basis, requiring contractors to provide unit prices per ton that are all-inclusive of aggregate, delivery, offloading, and spreading. The specification details extensive technical requirements for the limestone, including gradation, specific gravity, abrasion resistance, unit weight, and soundness. Contractors are advised to assess site accessibility and water levels, which are provided as approximate monthly averages for 2024, with a note that actual water levels will vary. The document includes precise latitude and longitude coordinates for each site, along with multiple maps showing the locations across the two refuges. Bidders must carefully review the attached maps, water depth information, and site-specific requirements to develop accurate and comprehensive bids.
