About this file

This document appears to be an Attachment B that outlines the salient characteristics for an Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) system required for the Salisbury W.G. Bill Hefner Medical Center. The key requirements include:

The IVUS system must be a mobile platform with a tablet, acquisition processor, isolation station transformer, mouse and keyboard, and secondary mobile monitor. It should have specific features such as a 13-14" LED backlit touchscreen tablet, multiple connectivity ports, Windows 10 Enterprise, and automatic pullback speeds up to 8 mm/s for quick vessel imaging. The system will be used for percutaneous coronary intervention procedures to assess lesions and evaluate post-procedure results.

This IVUS requirement is part of a larger federal contract opportunity solicitation (Solicitation #36C24624Q0766) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs for an "Avvigo Intravascular Guidance System" to be used at the Salisbury VA Medical Center. The solicitation is for a brand name or equal system.
