About this file

This is a Schedule of Tests by Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) for sample testing services required by the Hydroelectric Design Center.

The Hydroelectric Design Center requires an ISO 70195 accredited laboratory to provide comprehensive sample testing services for various steel components used in hydroelectric powerhouse applications. The contractor must supply all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, management, tools, labor, materials, and incidentals necessary to receive samples, machine appropriate specimen shapes, conduct tests, submit results reports within 14 days of sample receipt, and store or dispose of specimens as directed. The schedule includes 12 CLINs with individual pricing lines: four CLINs for comprehensive sample testing with Chemistry, Tensile, Hardness, and Charpy tests (with and without low carbon content analysis); one CLIN for mechanical-only testing; three CLINs for single-test services (Chemistry only, Tensile only, and Hardness only); one CLIN for Charpy-only testing; one CLIN for small specimen machining surcharges when samples are smaller than standard; and one CLIN for extended storage of up to an additional 30 days if directed. All test results must be reported within 14 days of sample receipt, with test specimens and remnant material stored for a mandatory 30-day period following report submission, after which materials may be disposed if no additional direction is received.
