About this file
This is a Tree Purchase Bid Form issued by the City of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department for a 2023 bulk tree purchase anticipated to total no less than 200 trees. The bid form requests pricing for 30 species and cultivars of trees, with specifications requiring all trees to fall within 1.5" caliper size parameters and be available in either ball and burlap (B&B) or container-grown stock. Bidders must indicate the minimum order size required to achieve the prices identified in their submission. Vendors may leave cells blank for species/cultivars not available in their inventory, and specific cultivars identified on the form may not be substituted without City Forester approval. Vendors are permitted to supplement the form with additional species/cultivars and price lists as needed.
Pricing must be provided on a per-tree basis and must include all delivery costs. The bid form was completed as of February 2023 to reflect current available quantities, with the understanding that inventory may fluctuate slightly at the time of order. Multiple vendors may be selected for award. The document does not specify response deadlines, bid submission dates, or contract terms beyond the 2023 purchasing period.

2023 City of Sun Prairie Tree Purchase Bid Form
All quantities of trees listed on bid form, either B & B or container, must fall within 1.5" caliper size parameters. If you do not have the species/cultivar or stock type available, just leave the cell BLANK. If a cultivar has been identified on this list it may NOT be substituted with another cultivar, unless approved by the City Forester. The City understands that the quantity available may change slightly at the time of order; please complete for quantity available currently [February 2023]. Identified prices are per tree and identified price must include delivery cost(s). You may supplement this form with your own price list. For any additional species/cultivars you may have, use this form as a guide to provide additional quantities and prices. Also, at the top of the form you must provide the minimum number of trees the City must order [per season] to achieve the prices identified in this bid form. Multiple vendors may be chosen.
