Statement of Work: Provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to replace, modify, or install lighting/electrical equipment as specified in this Statement of

Work. The contractor shall provide a technical proposal and detailed cost estimate for the entire project as specified in this statement of work. Descriptive literature and written specifications for the equipment in the proposal must be included with the quote. The detailed cost estimate shall provide a breakdown showing the equipment, labor, general conditions, etc.

Project Objective: To perform the following electrical services:

-Rewire ten (10) 8FT T8 light fixtures to accept direct wire LED lamps, provide and install LED lamps.

-Replace seventeen (17) 4ft, 2 bulb, vapor tight linear fluorescent fixtures with 2 bulb vapor tight LED fixtures including LED lamps.

-Replace or modify existing 100-watt Metal Halide fixture with equivalent LED fixture, including lamp.

- Install a dedicated circuit as described below.

Background:

Existing 8ft fixtures consist of two 2lamp 4ft T8 fluorescent fixtures arranged in end-to-end tandem formation, wired to a 120V circuit. Each 8ft fixture includes four 48” bi-pin lamps. They are suspended approximately 12ft high.

Existing vapor tight fixtures are 2 lamp, 48” fixtures, wired to 120V circuit. 16 fixtures are arranged in two banks of 8 lights each, each bank on an individual switch, mounted to metal roof framing structural members approximately 14ft high. The remaining lamp is affixed to a sheetrock ceiling, approximately

10ft high.

The 100-metal halide fixture provides exterior lighting at the West entrance to the facility. It is recessed into the structure fed by a 120v circuit. This fixture can remain in place or replaced completely but led

“conversion” must not utilize the exiting magnetic ballast.

A growth chamber is being replaced with a newer model and requires a new, dedicated circuit run from an existing 400a 3 phase panel approximately 30FT away.

Scope of Work:

Furnish all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to perform installation/modification of fixtures and circuits as defined in this SOW and in accordance with State and

Local building authorities. Remove and properly dispose of all fixtures, equipment, materials affected by replacement, installation, modification, or removal.

Contractor Requirements:

The contractor Shall:

• Obtain all building and trade permits necessary, to include any drawings, plans, permit and inspection fees, utility location, site surveys, and any other items necessary for compliance with

State, Local, and Federal building authorities.

• Possess appropriate trade license(s) for work being performed.

• Rewire the 10 8ft T8 fluorescent fixtures to accept LED direct wire lamps; provide and install new lamps. Lamps shall be 4000K, 2000 lumen minimum.

• Replace 17 vapor tight fixtures with new, contractor furnished, LED 4ft vapor tight fixtures. Fixtures must employ T8 sized linear LED direct wire tubes with a bi-pin base. Lamps shall be 4000K, 2000 lumen minimum.

• Replace or modify existing 100watt Metal Halide recessed fixture. The resulting fixture shall employ a 4000K 100W equivalent LED lamp.

• Install a 120/208v (L1, L2, N, G) circuit from a 400a 3 phase panel, terminating at a contractor supplied NEMA L14-30 receptacle mounted to hollow block wall. Approximate length of run – 30FT.

Contractor shall furnish all materials for circuit including breaker, rigid conduit, conductors, receptacle, and receptacle box. Circuit shall be compatible with growth chamber electrical specifications. See pictures for more growth chamber electrical specifications.

• Provide any other materials and work necessary to provide an installation consistent with applicable building codes and industry standards.
