About this file
This document is a Scope of Work for the Department of Finance with the City and County of Denver, seeking aggregated and anonymized consumer credit and debit card spending data. The project aims to acquire a cloud-based solution that provides granular purchase data specifically for Denver City/County, to be accessed no later than June 1, 2025. The required deliverables include anonymized consumer spending data, online cloud-based access, technical training and support, detailed analyses (trends, heat maps, and retention), and a data feed with row-level information including raw and transformed data tables.
The data procurement is intended to support the City's Chief Economist and Economic and Data Team in analyzing the city's sales and use tax base and developing future revenue projections. The desired data feed should provide daily (or at minimum weekly) transaction information across online, in-store, and store card channels, with a preference for backend database or API access. The geographic specificity is critical, with a strict requirement to drill down to Denver City/County level data, explicitly excluding MSA or zip code level information.
