About this file
This document is Attachment A - Scope of Work for the Florida Department of Management Services (DMS) Project Management Professional (PMP) Exam Preparation Training and Testing Services solicitation, numbered DMS-24/25-245. The contract seeks a contractor to provide comprehensive PMP certification training for state employees, requiring a minimum of four 35-hour in-person classes per fiscal year with 20-30 students per class. The training program must include course materials, online training resources, initial and re-examination PMI® PMP® exam fees, and an annual PMI® membership for each student. The contractor must maintain PMI® Authorized Training Partner status and have instructors with current PMP® certifications. Classes will primarily be conducted in Tallahassee, with the option of one class per year in another Florida city.
The scope of work includes detailed performance metrics and financial consequences for non-compliance, with potential invoice reductions for various performance shortfalls such as not providing complete course materials, missing certification deadlines, or failing to submit required reports. While specific pricing is not included in this attachment, the document references a separate Attachment B - Price Sheet for detailed cost information. The contract is structured with rigorous requirements for the contractor, including quarterly reporting, providing online practice examinations, and ensuring students can take and potentially retake the PMP® certification exam. The performance metrics emphasize quality training delivery, student support, and adherence to PMI® Authorized Training Program standards.
