The sample contract includes provisions addressing compensation structures, benefits eligibility, worker classification requirements, and compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations. The document outlines the District's expectations regarding background checks, training requirements, and safety protocols for temporary staff. It establishes the framework for billing and payment procedures, along with insurance and indemnification requirements. The contract includes standard terms regarding at-will employment status for temporary positions, confidentiality obligations, and dispute resolution procedures. Additional provisions cover workers' compensation insurance, compliance with prevailing wage requirements if applicable, and adherence to the District's operational procedures and safety standards during the contract term.
