About this file

The attachment A - Salient Characteristics document details technical specifications for the Philips IntelliVue Multi-Measurement Module X3, a critical care patient monitoring device for the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration. The device is intended to replace 194 existing Philips IntelliVue X2 series units across GLA facilities, with specific requirements including a 5-hour battery life, wireless connectivity, 15.5 cm size with a color LCD touchscreen, and comprehensive monitoring capabilities for ECG, SpO2, respiration, blood pressure, and multiple other critical patient parameters.

Key technical specifications mandate the device be constructed from durable, antimicrobial hard plastic with Corning Gorilla Glass, designed for hospital settings with the ability to withstand drops up to 1 meter. The monitor must interface with existing Philips PIIC iX Central Station and be capable of monitoring critical care patients during transport and at bedside, with customizable screen configurations. The opportunity is a pre-solicitation Request for Information (RFI) under solicitation number 36C26225Q0490, issued by Veterans Integrated Service Network 22, seeking to upgrade their existing patient monitoring equipment.
