Zenitel Intercom Station IP-CROR Specification
Section 1. System Capabilities and Functionality
Veteran’s Affairs Hospital Baltimore is asking for a proposal to install a new IP based intercom system for their Operating Room Suite located in Baltimore, MD. This Scope of Work is as follows:
1. Overview
The Operating Room Suite will be equipped with 2-way intercom stations throughout. This includes (34) stations. The exact locations of these stations in each room will be determined with the client. The Zenitel IP-CROR specification sheet is included at the end of this scope of work. Rooms that are scheduled to receive an intercom station are listed below.
1.1. The (34) paging stations are “clean room” approved stations which will be flush mounted in the wall. A single CAT6 cable will need to be pulled to each location. Data closets are within 150 typical, and none are over the 100m threshold.
1.2. This system will allow one to one 2-way calling or one to all calling.
1.3. All network cabling will be routed to the service bay in Quad D. The contractor will route the cabling through the walls and ceiling (or interstitial space if necessary) to the Service Bay.
1.4. The hospital’s IT staff (IRM) will provide (34) patch positions with ties to active network ports.
Contractor will provide IRM with all network requirement details. This patch panel can be co- located with the paging system patch panel already in place. The contractor will patch the cables down to the patch panel (well labeled) and IT staff will activate each port and configure.
