About this file
This is a proposal template document for the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries (MADMF) Large Whale and Sea Turtle Conservation Program grant for fiscal year 2027. The template is designed for organizations seeking funding to support monitoring, documentation, protection, and recovery of large whale and turtle species in Massachusetts state waters and adjacent areas. The proposal template establishes the required format and sections that applicants must complete when submitting their grant applications, including project descriptions, methodologies, timelines, and organizational information. The document serves as a standardized tool to ensure consistent submission of proposals and facilitate comparative evaluation of applications requesting grant support for marine species conservation efforts.
The template outlines the structured approach MADMF requires for grant applicants to present their conservation initiatives and resource needs. By providing a consistent proposal format, the document ensures that all applicants address essential program elements including project goals, implementation strategies, deliverables, and budget justifications. This standardized template enables MADMF to effectively assess proposals based on merit and alignment with state conservation priorities while streamlining the application review process for multiple submissions. The use of a formal proposal template reflects MADMF's commitment to transparent, equitable evaluation of grant applications from eligible organizations seeking to contribute to Massachusetts' large whale and sea turtle conservation objectives.
