About this file
This document is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for a vehicle accident damage repair contract. The U.S. Department of Agriculture's San Bernardino National Forest Fleet Management requires repairs to a Ford Super Duty F-350 pickup truck that was involved in a rollover accident, including damage to the cab, utility box, drivetrain, and frame.
The key objectives of the work are to straighten the frame, repair the cab body and utility box, and restore the drivetrain and paint/decals to their original condition prior to the accident. The contractor must have specific capabilities such as frame straightening, body repair, welding, painting, and general mechanics. Deliverables include a damage assessment report within 14 days and weekly status reports. The government will provide the vehicle, photos, dimensions, and color scheme, and will allow towing from their facility to the contractor's repair shop. Performance will be measured against DOT inspection standards and OEM repair procedures. No specific award dates, pricing terms, or set-asides are provided in this PWS.
