Statement of Work
NM Numa Replacement
Nuclear Medicine Service (NM Service) Atlanta Veterans Affairs Healthcare System (ATL VA HCS)
Objective:
Obtain a replacement Numa NumaStore image/data storage/management system such that the NM Service has functional image/data storage, backup storage, and storage management/administration capabilities.
Tasks:
Vendor The vendor is to provide image/data storage for management of clinical medical images and data generated in the ATL VA HCS NM Service.
Storage system required features
• shall be at least 2 x 30TB in RAID configuration as primary and secondary storage (present expected volume is ~1.5TB/year)
• will accept migration of all images and data presently stored in the NM Service (~10TB)
• shall accept images and data from Biodex, Capintec, eC2, GE, Hologic, MIM, Philips, Siemens, Syntermed, Candelis technologies
• shall be structured on Microsoft Windows Server Standard 2019
• have a database built on Microsoft SQL Server Standard 2019
• shall include a Microsoft Windows 10 based PC for remote user access
• shall be compliant with all aspects of DICOM part 10
• shall have DICOM auto-pull, auto-forward, push, query, retrieve functions
• shall perform automatic image/data compression and automatic image/data decompression
• shall handle automatically raw, reconstructed, processed NM images/data
• shall handle automatically static and dynamic SPE, SPECT, SPECT-CT, PET, PET-CT, PET- MRI, DXA, Spectrometer images and data
• shall be scalable, expandable
• shall be capable of translating with integrity non-DICOM, DICOM, vendor-native formats among formats of the vendor technologies listed above
• shall be capable of functioning with standard industry network protocols such as
DICOM, TCP/IP, FTP, TFTP, OSI
• shall have a flexible, user-friendly, management/administration environment that includes significant tracking and reporting functionalities
The vendor is to install the offered technology.
The vendor is to migrate existing images/data to the offered technology.
The vendor is to train local personnel on management/administration of the offered technology.
All vendor proposals will be assessed (and refined as appropriate) by a review team from the ATL VA HCS Nuclear Medicine (NM) Service to ensure appropriate technology is acquired.
NM Service The NM Service will configure and test the technology within 30 days of its arrival and ensure all components are working properly.
Biomedical Engineering (BME), NM Service:
The C&A requirements do not apply, and a Security Accreditation Package is not required.
A jack shall be activated in 1C333 so the acquired Remote User PC can be connected to the proper clinical VLAN within the ATL VAMC.
A server rack and appropriate VLAN will be prepared in the appropriate server farm so that the Numa servers can be installed and communicate with all clinical medical imaging technology (GE, Philips, Siemens, MIM, Syntermed, Hologic, Capintec, Atom lab, eC2, Candelis) in the ATL VA HCS NM Service. The connections are to be set such that communication can be activated and such that communication can be accomplished with appropriate speeds.
