This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) involving the removal and replacement of Right of Way fencing along Highway 36D. The project covers approximately 26,396 linear feet of fencing across four sections between mile markers 129.1-129.5(NS), 131.02-131.5(NS), 133.02-135.512(NS), and 133.7-135.4(SS), located just west of Last Chance. The contractor will remove existing wooden and metal posts with barb wire and replace them with new fencing, including bracing for 5 gates and 3 wooden posts, 8 cross fence connections, 26 inline posts, and zinc-coated barbed wire. The work must be completed prior to June 1, 2025, and will adhere to CDOT's Maintenance and Signs Standards Specifications fencing section M-607-1.

The contract requires the contractor to provide all materials, tools, and personnel to complete the task, with monthly invoicing by the 15th business day of each month. The project budget is expected to include all profit, fees, costs, and expenses, such as labor, travel, parts, service, repair, installation, and administrative support. CDOT will mark stretches of good fencing that will not be removed and replaced, and the contractor must contact CDOT at least a week in advance to coordinate marking. The contract allows for CDOT's sole discretion to extend performance beyond the initial term, with the contact person being Dawn Walker at the CDOT office in Brush, Colorado.
